Update:

Whether you joined us in person or supported from afar, thank you for being part of the 2025 Communities In Schools of Lakewood Community & Fundraising Breakfast.

🧡 At a time when so many in our community are facing real challenges, your presence – in every form – matters deeply for the students and schools we serve.

April 16th – we celebrated our biggest attendance ever, and the energy in the room was inspiring. The support you showed reminded us that we’re not in this alone – we’re a community that shows up for our young people!

Here’s where we are:

Highest attendance ever!
🔓 Only $1,500 left to unlock our full matching challenge
📈 Just $125/month in new pledges to go — that’s only 5 donors at $25/month!

Thank you for standing with us and showing up for our students.
Your presence matters – for our youth, our schools, and the future of our community.

P.S. ☕️ All new monthly donors will receive a special Communities In Schools of Lakewood branded coffee mug as our thanks!

See you the morning of Wednesday, April 16th! Here is a Campus Map to help you find your way.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of the Communities In Schools of Lakewood Annual Community and Fundraising Breakfast! Join us on Wednesday, April 16th, for a morning filled with inspiration, connection, and community support for our youth.

We’ll be gathering at the McGavick Conference Center at Clover Park Technical College from 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. to celebrate the resilience, achievements, and bright futures of our students. Together, we’ll highlight their hard work and perseverance, and recognize the dedication of our partners who help create a strong “Community of Support.”

This event is a powerful opportunity to hear directly from students and celebrate the collective impact we’re making in their lives. Plus, if you’re interested in making a difference in partnership with CIS Lakewood, this is a great opportunity to learn how you can get involved.

Bring a friend, family member, or anyone you know who might be interested in learning more about our work and how they can get involved. Plus, attendees who pledge a monthly donation will receive a special CISL-branded coffee mug as a token of our appreciation!

We’re thrilled to come together and create a lasting impact on our youth..

If you have any questions regarding the event, please contact Kerri Pedrick, Executive Director, at kerri@lakewoodcis.org.
